New to the site and curious how our meal delivery in Helsinki works? Just placed your first order and want to know what to expect? No matter where you are at, you have come to the right place.
Until when can I order my meals?
A new weekly menu appears on Tuesdays at 11 AM. You can order meals until Sunday 6 PM and get them delivered on the following Tuesday and/or Thursday. After the deadline of Sunday 6 PM has passed, you can still order meals for Thursday delivery before Tuesday 11 AM.
Missed the order deadline? If the delivery days (Tuesday and Thursday) are still visible on the weekly menu page after the order deadlines have passed (Sunday 6 PM for Tuesday deliveries and Tuesday 11 AM for Thursday deliveries), you can still place your order for those delivery days.
We manually adjust the delivery dates on Sundays and upload the new weekly menu on Tuesday, so it is possible there is some delay which gives you a chance to place a late order which we can still accept for the upcoming delivery day.
What days of the week do you deliver and at what time?
We deliver meals on Tuesday and Thursday . You receive an email the day before your delivery day with an estimated delivery time. In general, all meals are delivered between 08:00 and 17:00 during the day or you can also choose to get meals delivered in the evening. You can find more info on our delivery info page.

If you would like your delivery to be earlier or later during the day or want to know around what time we deliver in a certain area, simply get in touch.
For pick-up points, we place your meals in a bag marked your name in a FuelMe fridge. Have a look at our current pick-up points. You receive an email after the delivery is completed, so you know you can go and grab your meals from your selected pick-up point.
Do I pay for delivery and is there a minimum order amount?
The minimum order amount is €40 in total. You can divide your meals over the two delivery days as it suits you. The home delivery fee remains the same price of €5,90, regardless if you receive all meals on one delivery day or both delivery days. Home delivery for one or two delivery days is free for orders over €90.
Do you have a recurring order option, like a subscription model?
Yes, we do! With the subscription, your order is automated and goes through every Thursday. You can select the number of meals you would like to get delivered every week, as well as the meal size, preferred delivery days and delivery method.
You receive a discount on every meal and you can skip a delivery week or pause/cancel your subscription at any time. When you are on a subscription, you are able to select your preferred meals of the upcoming weekly menu in the subscription picker in your account.
Can I pay for an order using a lunch voucher?
We accept payments from all lunch voucher providers: Edenred, Eazybreak, Smartum and ePassi. To place a standalone order on our website, you receive a digital gift card that replaces the value of the lunch vouchers.
How it works:
- Make multiple payments on the lunch voucher app until you reach the total amount you would like to use to place an order through the FuelMe website. You can find us as "FuelMe", "FuelMe Office" or "FuelMe HQ". You do not need to wait for any payment approval from FuelMe.
- Drop us a message after you have done the payments on the app, so we can double check your payments and the total value.
- We will send a digital FuelMe gift card to your email with the same value to place your order on the FuelMe website. This gift card be used over multiple orders until you have used up all the value.
You can also use physical paper vouchers to receive a FuelMe gift card. These can be picked up by the driver on your first delivery. Get in touch to let us know what the total value of your paper vouchers is and we will send you a digital gift card to place your order before the first delivery. You can give the paper vouchers to the driver upon the first delivery.

At certain pick-up points you can pay with your lunch voucher app for our Grab & Go meals. A Grab & Go meal costs €10,90.
Can I use lunch vouchers for a subscription?
Yes, you can! This is how it works:
- Let us know what the total value of the lunch vouchers is that you would like to use for the subscription.
- We will send you a discount code with the same value to activate your subscription.
- Create your subscription using your personal discount code at the checkout. You can pay the possible remaining amount of the subscription with a credit card after entering the discount code.
For future payments of the subscription:
- For a weekly subscription, you pay the lunch voucher value every week before Friday. This would be the same value you paid when creating the subscription.
- For a monthly or 3-monthly subscription, you pay the total lunch voucher value before the first delivery date of the new subscription interval (i.e. monthly or 3-monthly). You can make multiple payments over multiple days on the lunch voucher app if needed.
- If there is a remaining amount after the lunch voucher payments, this will be automatically charged from your bank card.
Can I order meals if I want delivery outside the capital area?
At the moment, we deliver meals inside the capital area (Helsinki, Espoo, Vantaa) but make exceptions for bigger orders. If you have doubts whether we deliver to you, let us know.
How is FuelMe different from other meal services?
Many services provide you with the raw ingredients and recipe suggestions, where you have to cook yourself. FuelMe offers you a set of balanced zero-cooking meals prepared with quality and healthy ingredients. No cooking or grocery shopping required. You simply heat and eat.
Can I order any number of meals that I like?
You can fill up your shopping cart with any amount of meals you wish. The minimum order value is €40.
Can I order all my meals for one delivery day?
Yes, you can! You can divide your meals over the delivery days as you see fit: receive all meals on Tuesday, all on Thursday or divide them over both days - it's up to you.
Can I cancel my order?
You can cancel your order for a full refund before the order deadline (Sunday 6 PM for Tuesday deliveries and Tuesday 11 AM for Thursday deliveries). You can drop us a message at any time. If you are on a subscription and want to skip one week, you need to skip it before the order deadlines too. After the order deadline cancellations are not possible anymore and you can make your loved ones happy by letting them skip cooking for the upcoming week.
How long do the meals stay fresh?
The meals stay good for up to 3 days after delivery. The preparation and expiration dates are marked on the meal box.
Are your meals frozen?
Frozen? Hell no! Our meals are always fresh and prepared the day before the delivery day. Simply heat up and you are good to go. If you need to, you can freeze meals to enjoy later.

How do I reheat the meals?
The packaging is microwaveable, the foil and possible cups inside the meals are not. You can also take the food out of the package and reheat it on a plate in a microwave for 2.30 minutes. If microwave technology is not your favourite, you can heat it in a pan which will preserve the taste the most. Each meal comes with recommended heating instructions.
What is the difference between the 3 different meal sizes?
The sizes follow in general the following ingredient guidelines:
- S: 100g carbs, 100g vegetables, 120g protein, 50g sauce
- M: 150g carbs, 150g vegetables, 150g protein, 100g sauce
- XL: 150g carbs, 150g vegetables, 250-300g protein, 150g sauce
Is your packaging biodegradable?
Our packaging is eco-friendly and after a quick rinse, it can easily be recycled with your cardboard.
Can I order as a company and pay by invoice?
Yes, you can! Get in touch and we will send you instructions on how to make an order as a company and pay by invoice.
I am on a FuelMe subscription. How do I select my meals from the menu?
To select your meals from the weekly menu, login to your account with the same email you used to purchase the subscription. In your account choose "Select Subscription Meals". You can now select your preferred meals and divide them over the two delivery days as you like. Check this video to see how it works.
If you happen to forget to select your meals, we select them based on your order history. If you have allergies we should take into account, get in touch.
What happens to my meals if I don't pick them up from a pick-up point?
If you are not able to pick up your meals, you still have the chance to get them the day after the delivery day (Tuesday and Thursday). If on Wednesday or Friday we see bags from the previous delivery day still in the fridge, we will quickly contact you to check if you forgot to pick up your meals.
I have allergies. How do I know I am safe to eat the meals?
Each meal comes with a full ingredient list on our website so you know exactly what you are ordering. Click or top the meal image to see the list of ingredients and macros-nutrient info. If you want to be completely sure what you are ordering suits you, you can always ask us.
I would like to try it, but I am not sure whether I will like the meals.

I am not a member or client at one of your pick-up points, can I still order meals?
Yes, you can. The pick-up points are not exclusively for the members unless it is mentioned on the list of delivery options. If you are not sure, simply send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org or check the opening hours of the pick-up point in question on our delivery page.
